We had 2 achievers for the month of May
Male and Female - both completed 100 Marathons - quite an achievement.
Club - Redway Runners

Also we have 7 Redway Runners who went to the assistance of a runner who had a seizure on a recent Parks Run. Without their quick thinking the incident could have been very serious.
The runners have donated their cheque to MacMillan.

Four Grants were awarded this month to Boxing Clever MK, Mk Youth Korfball Trust, The Redway School and Newport Pagnell Town FC.

One Bursary was awarded this month to a talented player from MK Basketball Club. Bursary of £300 awarded.

Six Grants were awarded this month to MK Basketball Club (2 Grants), Arabian School of Gymnastics, MK Gallacticos Football Club, MK Rowing Club and MK Roller Derby. The total of awards granted was £3033.

Two bursaries of £300 each were awarded this month to two talented athletes from Haversham Sailing Club and Shenley Brook End School. No grants were awarded.

Slated Row and Redway Runners

There were no grants or bursaries awarded this month

For over a decade, the National Hockey Foundation has been administering the legacy funds from the sale of the old National Hockey Stadium in Milton Keynes. Since then, Sport MK has been supported by the Foundation with annual grants, which have been used to support grass root sports in Milton Keynes.

One Grant has been awarded this month for equipment for New Bradwell Cricket Club.

Two Grants have been awarded this month for additional equipment for MK Basketball Association and Shenley Archers. Total awarded £819.20.

One Grant awarded this month to MK Basketball Club, Grant of £449.25 awarded.

No Grants were given this month, but two Bursaries of £300 each were awarded to two talented badminton players from Webber Badminton.
Total awarded £600.

Two awards were made this month, a Grant of £500 to Leon Leisure Centre for safety equipment and a Bursary of £300 to a talented young player from MK Tennis Club.
