Our Membership:

Membership of Sport Milton Keynes is open to all ‘not for profit organisations’ within the Milton Keynes Boundaries.

The organisation’s sport must be recognised by Sport England

Our membership runs annually from 1st October to 30th September, and we charge £35 membership fee.

We offer MK-based clubs access to support, grant funding, training and coach bursaries.

Sport MKs aim is to be the independent voice of grass roots sport and activity development in Milton Keynes. To support Organisations, Clubs, and their members to be the best that they can be. To inspire everyone in the Milton Keynes Community to feel that they are able to participate in any activity or sport, regardless of age, gender, social or health background, or ability. Sport MK C.I.C. aims to be seen as the driving force for developing grass roots sports activities in the ever-growing area called Milton Keynes

The Sport MK Annual Achiever Awards help recognise the effort and dedication from people, especially volunteers which keeps sport in MK vibrant and exciting and provides a grass roots foundation which underpins Milton’s Keynes ambition to become internationally recognised for sporting excellence.

 Benefits of membership to Affiliated Clubs or Athletes

For Clubs:

We offer Grants for a variety of reasons including,

• Start-up Grants (for new clubs),
• Grants for equipment and
• Grants for Coaching Assistance.
• Recognition of achievements to clubs, volunteers and coaches through our Sports Achiever of the Years awards

Note: We normally limit these grants to a maximum of £500 but we can recommend higher amounts through our benefactors.

For the Athletes:

We provide Bursary Grants up to £300 per athlete annually.

Grants must be applied for through the athletes own club or

Note: We limit Bursary Grants to a maximum of 2 athletes per club.

In addition:

• We organise a variety of Courses including First Aid
• We give awards for Sports Achiever of the Month and Sports Achiever of The Year.
• We hold a Sports Achiever of The Year Awards Ceremony for our award winners and monthly achievers. 

We are proud to have provided support to over 130 clubs to date.
